STAHLHEM WESTMARK SLEEVE SHIELD

The Stahlhelm (The Steel Helmet League) organization was divided into 25 district areas and each member had a distinctive sleeve shield to identify where he was from. It is constructed out of machine embroidered white, black red and yellow cotton thread. The shield shaped obverse features a black imperial eagle with a black and white shield on its chest, below a crown and banner, and is in front of a tri-color (black, white and red) backing, all below “L.V. Westmark”. The reverse reads: “Muster Ges. Gesch.” It measures approximately 2 3/8 inches wide by 3 inches tall. Free shipping
